The SFG Vault was a capsule collection featuring a curated selection of out-of-print miniature sets from previous Kickstarter campaigns.
The brief was to create engaging, highly detailed beauty shots of the hero miniatures, supported by an understated typographic approach that complemented the collection while remaining neutral across multiple product lines.
My response was to direct a series of renders inspired by high fashion and luxury product photography, elevating the presentation beyond traditional miniature “spills.” The imagery focused on the fine detail of the sculpts and the premium quality of the components within each set. This was paired with clean, confident typography that supported the visual compositions without overpowering them.
The final assets were rolled out across social media through both still and video content, showcasing the craftsmanship and quality of the products. Motion played a key role in the deliverables, leading me to edit a series of short films for Steamforged Games’ social channels.
